AHAFO ISD RECEIVES LOGISTICS SUPPORT FROM HEAD OFFICE TO ENHANCE OPERATIONS

The Ahafo Regional Directorate of the Information Services Department (ISD) has received a consignment of logistics from the Head Office to strengthen its operations and enhance public education across the region. The items were officially received on Monday, 27th April 2026, and have since been distributed to the six districts in the region to boost operational efficiency and improve outreach activities.

The logistics include desktop computers and accessories, a laptop, routers, SIM cards, and megaphones to support both office work and community engagement activities. This support comes after the Directorate earlier received an ultra-modern Information Services van/rig to facilitate public education and community outreach across the region.

Receiving the logistics on behalf of the Directorate, the Regional Information Officer, Mr. Maxwell Bassum Kombat, expressed gratitude to the Government and the Head Office for the timely support. He noted that the equipment would significantly enhance the department’s capacity to disseminate government policies and programmes, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.

He emphasized that the provision of the logistics demonstrates the commitment of the Government and the Head Office to strengthening regional operations and ensuring that citizens remain well informed about government interventions and initiatives.

The Regional Directorate assured that the items would be put to effective use to enhance service delivery and support the department’s core mandate of public education, community engagement, and national development communication in the Ahafo Region.
