The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. George Boakye on Thursday 29th April 2021 held a fruitful meeting with the deputy high commissioner of Russia to Ghana, Mr. Maxim Khaneev.
The Deputy high commissioner in his remarks revealed to the Regional Minister that, there is an upcoming investment exhibition in which Ahafo Region needs to take part to sell its investment opportunities to more than 50 Russian companies. He continued that, this investment exhibition will provide opportunities for matchmaking between investors and projects.
In response, Hon. George Boakye said that his office hopes to collaborate with the Russian Embassy to develop programs to assist the Ahafo Region in the area of investment.
