Today, Tuesday, 30th March, 2021, the Regional Minister and his entourage paid a courtesy call on the Acherensua Traditional Council. The Honorable Minister was warmly received.
Nana Aduse Poku expressed his gratitude to the President for fulfilling his promise by creating the region. He also acknowledged the work done by Hon. George Boakye during his turner as the DC and affirm that his new position will bring much development to the Region. Nana Aduse Poku also made known problems facing people of Acherensua these included the provision of a Tertiary institution, tarring of town roads, youth unemployment among many others.
Hon. George Boakye, in his speech called for peace and unity among the people, He also promised to commit some resources to create employment opportunities for the youth and also liaise with the appropriate state agencies and institutions to bring the much-needed development to the people.
The delegation to the chief’s palace was led by Mr. Ebenezer Amoah (Regional Chief Director).
