As custom demands , the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardiner and the Staff of the Ahafo Regional Co-ordinating Council joined both National and Local party executives on Thursday 27th February, 2025 to mark the one week observation of the Late Nana Kwasi Bosomprah , Paramount Chief of Goaso traditional Council at the Goaso R/C park.
The sudden demise of the Late Omanhene of Goaso Traditional Council who also doubles as the Chief Palm Wine tapper” Abetwahene” of the Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfo) Osei Tutu II occured on 16th December, 2024. This shocking news upon official announcement by the Goaso traditional council in Kumasi left many in shock and supprise.
Nana Kwasi Bosomprah ascended the throne in 2008 and was popularly known for his advocacy for development in the traditional council passed on.
This called for great multitude of people and mourners from and across every part of the country including the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardiner who was present to grace the occasion in a grand style was accompanied by National party Executives and member of parliament which includes ;
Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia , NDC National Chairman , Hon. Alhaji Collins Dauda, MP Asutifi South, Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister for Agric and MP for Asunafo South, Hon. Haruna Mohammed, MP, Asutifi North, Hon. Charles Asiedu, MP, Tano South, Hon. Kwabena Kyere Stuggard, MP, Berekum West, Hon Yaw Okyere, Council of State member for Ahafo Region.
However, Traditional Leaders, Politicians, People from the diaspora, Religious Leaders, the Coorperate body, Staff of all government agencies in the region, Media, and among others were also present to make the event a success.
