CLIENT SERVICE OPERATIONAL MANUAL TRAINING FOR STAFF OF MUNICIPAL AND DISTRICT ASSEMBLIES IN AHAFO REGION

The Local Government Service (OHLGS, RCCs and MMDAs) provides essential public services to citizens at all levels. The quality of the services delivered to clients and stakeholders depends on how well they are satisfied within an acceptable timeframe.

It was identified that, a major problem for ensuring client satisfaction is the lack of a standardized procedure for the management of complaints, enquiries and feedback.

In this instance, the Local Government Service with the sponsorship of Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (GSCSP) developed a Client Service Operational Manual to help strengthen the overall service delivery of the staff to improve client satisfaction.
Consequently, the Ahafo Regional Co-ordinating Council organized a series of training workshops for all staff in the region from 15th – 28th February, 2024 to enable staff receive the reforms indicated in the manual to improve upon service delivery.


The trainings were facilitated by the regional trainers; Mr. David Owusu Ansah (Chief Development Planning Officer) and Ms. Maud Mensah (Senior Human Resource Manager).
