The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardiner, has instituted a Regional Non-Denominational Thanksgiving program in Ahafo to be observed annually.
She said this when she joined the Ministers and congregation of the Victory Assemblies of God Church in Goaso to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the church.
In her remarks to mark the event, she extolled the positive impact the church had made on the society. She specifically noted that the schools that have been built by the church has helped shape the lives of children to contribute to nation building.
Hon. Charity Gardiner informed the teeming congregants that her office was going to work closely with the leadership of Local Council of Churches to fashion the modalities towards the institution of the Inter denominational thanksgiving program.
She thanked the Presiding Minister and the Planning Committee for the kind invitation extended to her.
The Hon. Regional Minister concluded her remarks by congratulating them and wishing them many more years of sustainable impact.
