HON. REGIONAL MINISTER HOSTS GOLDEN TEAM MINING COMPANY OFFICIALS

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. (Mrs.) Charity Gardiner, hosted officials from Golden Team Mining Company Ltd in her office on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, when they paid a courtesy visit on her.
The delegation, led by Mr. Amin Ayamga, Administrative Manager, congratulated the Hon. Regional Minister on her appointment to the highest office in the region. He also expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded to them. Mr. Ayamga highlighted the longstanding cordial and mutually beneficial relationship between Golden Team Mining Company and the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council (AhRCC). He expressed optimism that such productive engagements would continue, fostering holistic development in the Ahafo Region. The Administrative Manager raised concerns about the invasion of illegal miners as well as occasional armed robbery attacks that they suffer at their site.
In response, Hon. (Mrs.) Charity Gardiner thanked the officials for their visit and kind felicitations. She emphasized that the region’s development relies on active business operations across various sectors of the local economy. According to her, this would not only generate the much-needed employment but also improve household incomes for residents.
She further noted that as a young region, Ahafo requires strategic investments from organizations to drive its socio-economic progress. The Hon. Regional Minister reaffirmed her commitment to providing the necessary leadership to create a conducive business environment that enables enterprises to thrive. Particularly, she assured the delegation of facilitating the security arrangements that would enable the company operate in safety and security.
